Rep. Suhas Subramanyam
Suhas Subramanyam has represented Virginia’s 10th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives since January 2025. Before his election to Congress, he served in both chambers of the Virginia General Assembly, first in the House of Delegates and later in the State Senate.
Subramanyam earned a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University and a law degree from Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law. Before entering elected office, he worked as a corporate attorney advising technology startups and later launched his own small business.
During the Obama administration, Subramanyam served as a White House technology policy advisor, working on federal initiatives at the intersection of technology, innovation and government policy.
Subramanyam has deep roots in Northern Virginia, where he has been active in community and civic affairs. He lives in Loudoun County.
