Komel Caruso is the Chief Growth Officer and Co-Founder of HerMD, a pioneering women’s health and wellness company dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. At HerMD, she leads growth strategy, business development, marketing, and patient engagement, helping to expand access to healthcare that empowers women to be heard, respected, and supported.

Her commitment to women’s health stems from a personal journey — inspired by her mother’s experience of being overlooked by the healthcare system. This experience drives Komel’s mission to transform the delivery of women’s healthcare and to redefine how patients experience medical care.

With nearly two decades of leadership experience, Komel has held senior roles across marketing, partnerships, and business development. She previously held key leadership positions at Applerouth Tutoring Services, Story2, and Kaplan Test Prep, where she spent over a decade. She brings to her work a deep passion for advocacy, innovation, and building mission-driven organizations that advance women’s health and wellness.
