Hana Freymiller is the Director of Energy Project Finance at Climate First Bank. She leads the bank’s national energy project finance portfolio focused on initiatives in community solar, small scale utility projects, distributed generation, and BESS (battery energy storage systems) across the U.S. She brings extensive experience at the intersection of finance, energy, and policy. A mission-driven leader, she previously built a clean energy portfolio at a U.S. asset management firm to maximize both impact and returns, managed data-driven infrastructure projects in developing countries, and oversaw multi-million dollar evaluations of energy’s economic development impacts. She is passionate about expanding Climate First Bank’s clean energy portfolio and accelerating the deployment of resilient, low-carbon energy to fit the climate crisis.
